Remembering Veterans
We had a program given by the American legion, along with the grade school children yesterday , honoring our veterans. It was really nice seeing the children participate and learning what it is to be a veteran and to serve our country. My family has several veterans, two whom gave the ultimate sacrifice. My cousin Don Schultz (WW2) and Uncle Lewis Schultz.WW1)
My father was in the US Navy and served on the USS Rainbow as a stores clerk for 4 years during WW1.
Thanks to all who are serving today and remembering all of you that served in years past..
