We went to a nice restraunt that used to be a huge funeral home and restored old brick mansion..lovely! chatted non stop for over an hour, gave Danielle a couple gifts and then we went shopping. she had someone cover for her at the shop( who later will be on the show I am told) but we didn't keep her too long..told us about the newer shops in town and shared a lot about herself, her family and of course..Mike and Frank. they are down by Paducah picking today..imagine how warm that must be! also she told us about her clothing designs and her other job..She is a skilled burlesque dancer and does a each week in the quad cities ! she got Bailey( Helen's grand daughter) and three friends tickets to the show for Friday night..a little racey but mainly humor and good dancing. She is a really sweet gal and was so gracious that we were there..seemed to be all the show depicits. she said they never dreamt it would take off as it has and the town is so excited as businesses are booming from all the tourists. The shop keepers all knew Judy from the show which pleased Judy..said she felt like a celebrity as they invited her to come down for the festival and be on stage with Mike and Frank She leaves for virginia June 1st and will be away a few weeks, so had to decline..saying..maybe next year as she will be on another show this year. seemed neat to see the things they bought on these shows..the pig head, Phillip Morris sign, gas pum, old bikes etc..the white enamel alphabet letters...she said the "mole man"show really worried her for the guy's safety but the guys said he was a nice man and very interesting.( she mainly felt it would cave in on them!) .. there was lots said but will stop here... picture time!!( and yes I spent much money today! LOL)
