According to the information I have the siblings include: William 1859, Emily Emma 1860, Edward 1863, Louis 1865, Louisa 1866, Ernie 1866, Ida Amelia 1867, and Alice 1870.
But I’m not sure how much of that is correct. The 1870 census does not include either Louis or Louisa. The 1880 census does name Louisa as a daughter,but no Louis or Ernie.
I might have more information from my dad’s research. Sometimes census takers did not pay much attention to spellings of names or used nicknames. The father is sometimes listed as John, Frank, etc.
At least this may give you an idea of family. And that’s not taking into account that someone may have died as a child.
I wasn’t quite 6 when Ida died, but I do remember her. I remember her wrinkled hands and her peeling apples for pie. She always sat with a dishpan in her lap to catch the peelings.
We are fine here. Did you happen to see the wedding pictures I shared of my son’s wedding? Derek and Breann were married in early June. Scott is over your way teaching in Rock Falls.
